Breakdown Cover – Ashby

Breakdown cover isn’t always included in your car insurance policy and even when it is, it’s often not as comprehensive as you might expect. Often you have to pay extra if you want home assistance as well as roadside, for example. With this in mind, at Castle Garage, we’ve developed our own breakdown cover for motorists nationwide.

So what’s included?

• The vehicle’s manufacturer roadside assistance or a premium alternative recovery agent will be sent – 98% of the time within 1 hour
• Unlimited Call outs for the period of your cover
• Roadside Assistance and repairs where possible and practical, including home assistance and breakdowns
• Recovery to your home address or to the nearest garage within 40 miles of the breakdown
• Cover for any driver providing they have permission and are legally able to drive
• Cover for all cars, vans and motorcycles up to 3.5 tonnes, 5.5m long and 2.55m wide. Caravans, trailers and vehicles with living accommodation up to the size and weight limit stated
• Overnight accommodation if your vehicle is rendered immobile. We’ll also pay for overnight accommodation or public transport up to £60 including VAT. (Receipts will be required.)
• Drinks and meals are specifically excluded
• Wheel changes – this cover applies providing the vehicle
  1. has a locking wheel nut key
  2. has a serviceable and accessible spare tyre and wheel
  3. the wheel nuts can be removed manually at the roadside. If it’s not possible to change the wheel or reinflate, we will recover to the nearest garage within 40 miles
• Incorrect fuel – we will recover to the nearest garage within 40 miles.
