Because your car brakes are so important, at Castle Garage, we recommend having them checked regularly – not only when you have your MOT.

Bring your vehicle into one of our two workshops in Ashby (Wood Street and Nottingham Road), and we can carry out a free brake check which will give you a good idea of the condition your brakes are in. We’ll be able to tell you if you need any components replaced such as brake pads or brake discs, or if there are any issues with the braking system itself.

Two common signs of brake wear or faults are:

• A grinding sound which suggests that the brake pads have worn – call Castle Garage
